A tight game this morning where the Lightning finished a close 2nd to Stoke.
Stoke won the toss and decided to ball. Batting first the boys put on 134-3 with all top order batting well with a Strong opening partnership of 72 of 12 overs between Ellis(17) and Joseph(13), however quick run from the middle order put us in a good position( Parth (17), Zaki(15) and Charlie M(11).

In response, Stoke scored 135 for the loss of 1 wicket. Everyone bowled really well but stoke reached their target with 2 balls to spare. Overthrows, fielding and extras ultimately were costly. Lots of lessons to learn and the boys will move on.
