The U14’s have got off to a cracking start to the season. They have been promoted to Tier 2 league after winning T3 last year.
Sunday saw them play against Cheam, where Leatherhead won the toss and elected to have Cheam bat first. Cheam managed to score 104 for 7 after 20 Overs.
Finlay Smith did some great fielding with an epic dive to stop a 4 and a great catch later on.
Leatherhead responded with a great batting from its front line up with Roshan scoring 17 and Akhil scoring 26. The match was won in over 15 by Joseph scoring 2 successive 4’s.
So well done to the U14’s.
As always a massive thank you to all the parents that support the team, as well as to Huw Catling and the U13’s who we would not be able to play Tier 2 without their continued support.
